Maybe he really hasn't moved on, or maybe he's just traumatized about the things she did to him to make him be like this. Depends on the context of it all.

Toxic relationships that follow up with a bad break up can be a tough pill to swallow and a bad experience to get over, so I think the best course of action would be to give him some space and let him share his experiences. He'll most likely also have trouble trusting new people so easily either, so just keep reminding him that whatever happened with his ex is now in the past and she can never bother him again, and that you'll make sure not to repeat the same things she did. He always told me that I'm different from his ex and that i am honest, patient and conscientious. He doesn't feel stressed about our relationship. To be honest, he was glad to experience a healthy relationship that even though we have some misunderstanding, we immediately resolved it right away.

Am i being immature in the relationship or he is? I actually respect and understand his past. But I don't really get it. for example i want to watch an anime with romance in it , he doesn't want to watch it because he told me he remembers his ex.

The fact that you understand and respect his past alone proves that you aren't the immature one. He's just being dramatic here. Sure the characters in the said anime may remind him of her, but that's still a stretch

Not just anime but he doesn't want to talk about future stuff. Right now, we don't talk about many things like before. After I expressed my opinion about talking about his ex to me and being uncomfortable with it. I felt something decreasing on my part, and i don't know what it is.
