We broke up a few days ago and I’m doing the no-contact rule. We talked on discord/Snapchat to coordinate our dates. But we both had a feeling we might not be a forever couple because he’s studying abroad and we might never see each other again. I just remembered he asked for my number/contact info a week before he boarded the plane, though we still never chatted through text messages. He put in my full name, email, birthday! Why did he even ask that? What was the point? I forgot to ask him but it’s too late now…

We were together for 5 months but had each other’s social media to keep in contact. We knew he was going to leave so I didn’t think we needed something as personal as a contact saved.
