Why do so many people get turned on by the thrill and challenge of something?

Guys and Girls do this shit and yes I have done it as well, but why do you think we get turned on by doing shit we know that is wrong? Example having sex with someone that is married , Or going after someone that we know is already in a relationship? Why do you think we are turned on by the challenge of something that we know is wrong? I know girls that got turned on when another girl would hit on me? Why? One thing that gets me turned on is a girl’s honesty , if she is honest with me I don’t care what her relationship status is , if I am attracted to her and we have good chemistry and she is honest , I’m sorry but I am banging her , I know it’s wrong but it’s better than being lied to is the way I look at it , just because someone is married it doesn’t mean they are off limits if they are honest , so many people get married for the wrong reasons and end up miserable and unhappy in life , I do agree they should divorce but that’s not my problem , I use to make it my problem until I realized I was having sex with married women that lied to me that they were married and once I found out I ended it with them , and they run back to their husbands like nothing ever happened , back to their miserable lives, Not my problem , But a girl that is honest with me , she has a chance with me
