How important is body language when you meet someone new?

I think I feel a lot more comfortable when someone moves a lot more, opposed to being too “stiff”.
Think of a teacher you liked. Think of your favorite grandparent. Most easygoing people who are comfortable move their hands a lot when they talk. I feel way more comfortable when people talk with their body language by displaying they’re easygoing, opposed to just being force to be there with no energy to contribute to anything.

It used to be everything for me, but people aren't in any "danger" when speaking in a coffee shop, or passing in a customer service line, lol

So if I don't have to worry about threats, or their feelings of being threatened- we're just gonna talk. If they want to leave they can use their words. Same for me.

It's important on a subconscious level. We are programmed to read body language as a way of determining whether that person is a threat, what they could be planning to do, how they feel, things like that. Whenever you look at someone, you are reading their their body language. You just don't realize it. So it is important because first impression is key.

especially because I only meet people in person, do not actually leave it all to online texting and stuff

and it is vital to me in order to actually get to know someone, and to get an idea of their moods, their vibes and an overall feeling and sensation about her and how really is... lol

Very important. If they look encouraging, it will encourage me to keep talking to them. If they aren't showing positive body language, I am discouraged from talking to them

Not important. Just be yourself and don't try to impress anyone. Women are just people too, so just don't read too much into what they think your body language is telling them. The reason being is because women more often than not completely misread men's body language more so than they get it right.
