How can I love a guy who’s emotionally unavailable and any experiences and advice?

I've had feelings for a guy who was emotionally unavailable. We never got together, and he's still emotionally unavailable, but the most loving thing I can do for him is be his friend. The most loving thing you can do for your guy right now is be his friend.

I would appreciate if when you don’t feel like calling or if you are struggling and need space to let me know. I know you haven’t felt love in a long while and I wanna give it to you I want to respect you. Some nights I get upset I know what you’re doing isn’t intentional but it does hurt.
I don’t like the gaslighting where you said i don’t think you understand how bad I need it when in fact I know. Or when you’re all like you may think I never talk to you but I talk to you more than anyone… which is a lie to me seeing as you have like 3 accounts but..

I think what you said was good. It shows him that you care about him.
I can't help but worry about him gaslighting you, but I'm proud to know that you stood up for yourself in that regard. Continue to stand up for yourself when he does this, and if need be, walk away. I hope this guy is able to come to a place where he realizes that his emotions are not an excuse to mistreat other people.

You just do. Or you don't. Either way, you have to accept the person for who they are. They probably aren't going to change. If you have to force loving them, then you just simply don't love them. And that's ok. We can't love everybody.

You can love him but you're in for a lifetime of heartache, it's called unrequited love. It's not easy but best to move on if that's truly the case
