Girls, if you were getting married to a guy do you prefer he has his own place and does not live with his parents?

personally, i think its important to have your own place and peace of mind. Living with parents can be a headache and hassle.

I think it depends on the parents. We are both really close to our own and eachothers parents so it was never a problem.

Personally, I think a guy should be living away from his parents 1 yr before marriage so he can take care of himself prior to marriage. I understand you gals don't want a mamma's boy. Me personally, I have to move the fuck out lol in 2023.

I agree with your point. It does help a lot if the man is able to care for himself before marriage and not count upon his mother for everything.

I mean if you're only 20 I don't think many young guys have their own place at the age of 20. It really depends if the guy came from a good family to help him financially right away or if he made the right financial decisions and worked hard to get his own place. But I'm assuming you meant you would choose an older guy who had his life together.

nope. i exclusively date guys my age and don’t find older guys appealing. i’m a 20 year old who works two jobs to support myself and pay for rent for my own place that i share with roommates. i am only asking for something i’m able to maintain myself through hard work.

my ex lived with his parents and it was an utter disaster for many reasons. finding someone who’s between the ages of 19-24 who had their own place really isn’t a big ask at all.
