My male friend has recently started dating a girl. We are quite close but he never told me about her until he changed his whatsapp picture.
My friend has been a player and was not looking for a relationship but somehow he got very emotionally attached to this girl (even though they didn't have sex) and he tried to push her away by claiming he did not like her.
They fell out and she cut ties with him which pushed him into more depression. He already suffers from anxiety issues and depression.
However, the girl came back to him after a few days because she was also emotionally invested in him and they started talking again.
Surprisingly, my friend agreed. 1 month later, he eventually told her his feelings and she accepted him.
I find this really weird because my friend is quite a hothead and he does not listen to people this easily.
This girl dumps him and then wishes to restart talking on her terms and he went along with it.
As if he has no mind of his own. He's literally abiding to her on her terms and doesn't even care that she's the one who decided when to quit and when to restart.
Why can't he see how controlling she is? What is wrong with him?

The dude is in love and unfortunately love can be blinding
How is he in love?
The girl just seems perfect for him I guess, maybe he likes a girl that's controlling, if he likes her then you should respect his decision
How is she perfect? He was causing her so much stress by lying to her
You seem jealous
I'm not? I'm just saying why is he following her so much? She cut him off he didn't accept and kept saying hello When she wanted to get back , he accepted
It shouldn't matter, if it's going to go wrong you should just let it blow up in his face, don't get involved
You think he likes her?
Seems like it
You sound jealous. Are you sure he’s just a friend?
Yes he's a friend
Let him do his thing. If he wants to vent, be a friend and hear him out. That’s it
Good. He’s in love.
What the fuck?
