What would it take for you to trust your spouse again if they cheated?

I would try to trust my cheating spouse again, however, I would expect some serious unsolicited openness from them. All passwords should be shared if this is not already the case. And, hey I am going to the grocery store... need anything etc. I expect full transparency and general discussions on topics without hesitancy. Rebuilding trust with a cheating spouse back to original status is an impossibility but after two years, it should have mostly passed.

genuine trust happens only once...

everything after that is not trust, it is a gamble

also, when cheating you break so many other things not just trust... personally I would never go back to something that it is no longer worth

Either I get into accident and the memory of their cheating is permanently wiped off and I'm left ignorant of it or they built a time machine to go back in time.
