Usually going to someone's room by night means you're most likely going to have sex with them, so I think you should be clear in advance because accepting it gives him an explicit chance for sex. Tell him it will be nice to see his house and the way he lives, and to spend an evening together indoor doing something cozy, but add that you won't agree to anything sexual because you are not a couple yet. So that it looks like you go there for reasons but that are not the sexual ones.
It doesn't matter if he likes it or not, this is your requirement and he better follow it if he wants to get anything from you, so don't be ashamed of stating your preferences and the importance you give to things.
I'm "easy" compared to you because I give low importance to physical exchanges and I'm really hard to get romantically involved, but that is me and that may be him too or others around you, but don't let anyone push you to do what you don't want to do just because they make you think it's not normal or not okay. Instead, if he insists for sex outside a relationship or tries to make you feel like you owe him something (after you tell him about your requirement), it would just show that he is not willing to pursue a relationship later because if he was he would have no problem in waiting and getting to know you better.
