What would you do if you were moving overseas but have feelings for someone?

My overseas visa is 2 years but I’m aiming to at least stay for 1 year. He knows I have feelings for him because he told me he did and after trying so hard to play it cool because I was leaving I couldn’t and I was honest. Need opinions on what to do!

I would try to make long distance work

I would continue talking to him while I’m away and see if those feelings stay or leave before getting too serious with him

I would cut things off now before one of us gets hurt

I would make the most of our time together this month before leaving and stay in touch every now and then while away. Then if we are both single and still into each other when I return see if we want to give the relationship a shot

I'd say determine how serious ya both are. And if you really are that serious look into any programs that support permanent residence like a green card in one or the others nation in. And if it comes down to it maybe consider if things snowball and you respect one another a lot and are serious then tie the knot. I know there's sometimes programs that support residency sometimes in connection with getting officially married if your both serious.

That could be your future husband a lot more important than moving. You can always travel and experience new things after you accomplish your goal by getting married to your dream guy
