Who do you believe is capable of crazier things and behavior when in love - men or women?

It is a very well known fact that people in love do dumb decisions, act silly out of love. I'd say it is a man who usually gets crazier when in love.

Men. While I agree that neither love for the other is completely unconditional, in general when a man is competing for the best woman, he is offering her what he can offer that sets him a part from other men. In return, historically, all they expected in return was faithfulness, willingness to bare children, and take care of said children. What he offers, is protection, and the resources for women to do so.

So while neither may be completely unconditional, mens love is far closer.

This coupled with the biological nature of men being far more territorial with their women then the reverse, it can make for a highly erratic and crazy response should the woman not love up to her side of the bargain

Men tend to do the unexpected more than women. When a guy really falls in love he is pretty fragile. Committed, mentally, physically, and finally emotionally, brings much devastation when a break-up occurs. I know guys who have literally hunted the girl down so overcome with pain and rage.

That being said, I was stalked by one woman as in always showed up where I hung out, suddenly at my indoor games, got a membership at a pool where I swim. That was an uncomfortable 9 months...

Men are actually more romantic than women but they get less leeway show it unless they 100% get full reciprocation from the woman.

Also society is much less forgiving and more weary of men who lose their heads romantically (stalking, jealousy, etc.). So men who get caught up in these heartbreak scenarios and want avoid being pariahs often indulge more in self destructive methods. This includes alcohol, drugs, gambling, domestic violence, porn, video games, promiscuity, depression, etc. It’s no coincidence men have much higher suicide rates. Romantic issues of lack of affection and/or failed relationships weighs into this very heavily. I truly believe the lack of meaningful relationships is number one contributing factor to self destructive behavior in men. Most men are designed to take on the responsibility of being a husband/father. When that sense of purpose is removed it make many of them go astray and act out self destructively.

Women can definitely go crazy in romantic scenarios. They will have a “chuck it all” fantasy of running off with a handsome stranger. Or have a school girl crush on the handsome man they started dating. They can have months long or even years long crushes on certain guys. But when things don’t work out as they fantasized they can express their negative emotions and heartbreak with a much more forgiving society. They usually have a network of friends and family to comfort them. So they process it better and are less likely to turn to self destructive behavior to “self medicate” their problems

Ooh, that's difficult to answer.

Females usually get justified easier under that typical Englishly-retarded 'hell hath no fury' saying. I've known women who'd never harm a fly - and had a fostermother who cherished nothing more than her ugly, toxic vindictiveness.

Males get physically aggressive easier, though, for both males and females, it is usually the dumb end of the spectrum that acts out their greed into vindictiveness (smarter people have a larger mental capacity so they are as a rule not greedy)

It's a vague question. Is the question of who love more, or who is more crazy in love? Because those are two different things. My point is that "crazy love" is not real love, it's toxic and destructive, and to be totally honest, it never lasts.

Now who's more on the lookout for those kinds of relationships? Women, definitely. Most love the drama more than they love their partner.

Proof? Who consumes Drama/Romantic books, movies and TV Shows more.
