Would you want a marriage or live-in relationship?

Suppose you are in a relationship with someone (assume your crush🥰) and you get a chance to marry with her/him or you can do a live-in with her/him. What you will prefer.
What if your culture is against live-in will you follow your culture or break it just to live-in with someone.

Live-ins are a way to avoid serious commitment that is required in a marriage.
Live-in is a slow but definite walk to relational implosion. No one is going to like everything you discover, therefore, one will justify exiting at will. There is no interdependence or formality of contract within a live-in design.

I've known couples who got married weeks after meeting and are on their 35++ years of marriage.. I've known couples who lived together 12 years.. starting off as 18-19 yr olds and got married. .. but that's in the U S of A

Never ever thought of living in with a boyfriend. It’s frowned upon in my culture although a lot of couples do that nowadays. I’d still won’t do it. I won’t marry either just because I have a crush on you. I gotta love you to death for me to marry

I personally plan on living with my future husband for at least a year or two before we get married. I mean it's just a part of getting to know them. If we end up hating each other after 6 months then it's better it happened now as opposed to after we're married.

If all goes to plan my girlfriend will be living with me starting this summer. Sure she'll have to go back to her parent's home to get the rest of her stuff, but we'd already be living here if COVID-19 hadn't hit, as light talks about it began in January 2020.

I dont think marriage would work for me. I have a very pessimistic view regarding relationships. I think a marriage would make me feel trapped in case things didn't work out. I would much rather prefer a live-in relationship.

Honestly it’s more a religious/cultural thing. Basic logic says marriage documents can be useful in certain legal issues, like taxes, etc.

I’d say if you’re buying big things like cars and houses, be married. Just for potential legal issues.
