What does it mean when a girl ALWAYS wants to split the bill?

Is it a clear sign that they don't want to sleep with the guy?

Splitting the bill is how people are raised. As a guy my mother always taught me that I am to pay for the whole bill however she taught my sisters that she should offer to pay for her portion of the bill just because its polite to at least offer. What you should do is just tell her that its your treat and don't let her pay for her food or anything. She is just trying to be polite and it doesn't necessarily mean anything. I feel that a guy that offers to split the bill probably doesn't want a relationship however if she insists on splitting the bill and he ends up giving in its not as bad because he cares and he just hasn't been able to say no to her and say that its his treat. Just take the bill as soon as it gets there and pay for it. Don't even let her have a chance to pay anything. afterwards she will probably either say thank you or try to pay you for some of it. if you finally give in and let her pay you just take that and go buy her flowers or chocolates or something nice and random for her the next day. just surprise her and she will like it but then the next time you go out to eat try to not let her pay for the bill.

i choose to split the bill when I'm not in a relationship with the guy unless he demands it. I like to know that I am independent enough to pay for myself and not have to rely on some guy to take care of me. I wouldn't say that its a clear sign about the sex though or that they wouldn't want a relationship. if the guy wants to split the bill that's great and no it doesn't always come across that he doesn't want a serious relationship. would you want to spend $35 on her food when you only spent $15? if that makes sense...

I don't think it really means anything. Unless it's obvious she just wants to get out of there, then there's a chance she doesn't want anything serious haha. (Or unless she just wants to get out of there to sleep with you). Anyway. My ex and I always used to split the bill on our dates. He'd buy dinner, I'd pay for the movie or something. Just because I knew money was a bit tight and he always spoiled me. It's just how things are nowadays I suppose.

Yeah I do always pay.. if she insists I let her pay the tip. but I have heard that some women feel obligated to sleep with a guy if they allow the guy to pay the bill. and if they don't want to feel that way they will insist on paying. that way there is no guilt.

I heard of that before but I dnt really think anyone really goes by that because anyhow you take it she could split the bill with you and still sleep with you lol.....one way you can let her know and bring ease to yourself tell her the next time your going out its on you and another time you can let her pay I think its more romantic that way as appose to her always wanting to split one bill.....

I don't think it means anything more than her just being polite, maybe a little iindependent. Don't worry about all the other stuff, I don't know any girl who feels obligated to sleep with someone because they bought her dinner. If she is going out with you, she wants to be around you. Maybe let her pick up the bill every once in a while so that she feels better about it when you pay.

my feeling [and I think many girls will agree with me here] is that if you are going out with someone, he should ALWAYS pay. I think a girl should at least offer, but I guy should never take the offer (shame on you) because it means he's cheap... not just cheap with money, but cheap with his time, affection, and care for you.

if she offers, DON'T LET HER PAY... even if it's her subtle way of saying she doesn't want to date you, you should still pay for the date because girls talk to each other

So what are the signals that say a women is cheap? what are the signals that says a woman is too careless with money? I mean you aren't creating a double standard are you? hmmmm if so maybe if a guy pays for dinner he should get a blow job... and even if the guy says he doesn't want one the girl should insist on swallowing every last drop... if not (shame on you) is that what you are saying?

That is not at all what I am saying. I'm talking about being a gentleman. women will agree chivalry is not dead. women want to feel cared for. I mean, you don't HAVE to pay for the meal, but it will make your date feel much more safe with you.

i do think women can do things like pick up the movie you're watching or other things to show she's not a freeloader. but dating is unequal, and if you're so tight with your wallet, I'd only assume you'd be tight with your attention toward me.

I mean, if you're saying the only reason you go on a date, or pay for a date is so that a woman will give you a blowjob, then shame on you. truthfully, there are girls who only go on dates to get free meals... and there are guys who's only objective is to get laid... but I think these people are both practicing stinginess.

i don't think a woman should ever RELY on you to pay for things [at least not while going out], but people like generous people, and it's a great way to look like a man to her

What? No. Personally when I am dating someone I either split the bill or if they pay I make sure to pay the nexxt time. The point in this is that I don't want to feel like I'm mooching or feel like I owe them anything. It's just curtious in my opinion.
