I fail to understand why anyone gets intoxicated in the first place. What is so fun about it? You know very well that you will behave oddly but you still do it. Why? Is it fun to be intoxicated?

If I was in the shoes of this lady, I would have reacted the very same way because what is said when one is intoxicated reflects the truth. The truth that one does not have the courage to say when sober.

It is so obvious that you see her that way as well when sober and therefore, your comment is how you perceive that person all the time.
