Whats the sweetest thing your partner has given you or done to you unexpectedly or expectedly?

Well there are certainly a number of events I could choose from, so I figure I should narrow the list of possible answers down to the ones that solely emanate sweetness. I'll tell two stories which happen to have been recent.

In terms of an occurrence that I was not expecting, I was not expecting the degree at which she was going to confess her love for me on Valentine's Day. Sure I knew she was going to display affection, with chocolates and coitus as is standard, but I did not anticipate the monumental display that she did. I won't indulge you with the details because it's sacred, but I can tell you it was very sweet - even more so than the chocolates.

I was expecting her to pull something on April 1st because she's devious like that. An absolute menace, not completely unlike @Degenerate in that regard. Actually, if not for the fact I noticed a unique receipt she had thrown away, which accounted the purchase of a ring, I would not have been prepared for what she was planning to do. She would then proceed to pull the classic proposal prank. That was especially sweet. Sometimes being the fool in "April Fool's" is really nice.

A taste of sweetness is nice on occasion. But as with all things, as long as it's taken in moderation.
