Sure, it took me half a year once to realize the relationship I had with a woman was casual. She was a vegetarian, and we never went out on a date, I only spent time over at her place, sometimes I'd cook because she didn't know how to, if I remember right fish was alright sometimes too.
Anyway, there was no room for anything to happen besides sex, though we acted close, there was no filling there besides cream. We just humped a lot, and there was no opportunity for anything else to happen, no dates, no dinner out, no bonding, nothing.
I don't see what's the big deal. I had ex for 3 years who was vegan. She wasn't one of those types though trying to convert me and everyone else. I took her to Hard Rock Cafe and she ordered a salad and I ordered burger. We also lived together for a year and no big deal. She always made these fancy vegan dishes and they tasted good. Then I eat meat stuff later so that I don't die.
I know an Asian woman who married a white man and she served a lot of food that Asian people hate eating at social events with her husband. I think unless the diet is based on a religious belief, most people will not abandon somebody they are interested in to gain more control over their diet. Like I love meat but would give that up if the man of my dreams was a vegetarian.
I absolutely prefer someone who prefers to eat a large variety of food and is open to trying new food. We have a variety of restaurants from all over the world and it's a shame if I can't try a lot of them.

I dated a woman that only ate chicken Caesar salad whenever we went out. I purposely found a restaurant with like 50 entrees that did NOT offer such salad. She spent 30 minutes looking through the menu and said "there's nothing to eat here". We didn't date again.
Flip side, I can't be with a woman that wants nothing but junk food
Yes, their can. Unfortunately, most humans rather have "taste" over anything logical , right and actually healthy. I have strong values in what I eat
yes especially if you both are trying to be healthy
i think opposite attract
