Why do I feel jealous of every happy couple?

I’m single and usually happy but I feel flickers of jealousy when I see a woman with a hot guy.

That's normal because of your desires. Im also single and I also experience some sort of jealous when I see a guy having a pretty woman on his side. And while I'm happy for them to have found someone to be a couple with and while they seem pretty happy which eachother...

In my head I know that they might seem pretty happy with eachother... i realise that it's just a brief moment I can see on the 2 of them being happy together but you never know what happens when your not their. That couple that seems happy walking by, can have a ton a problems behide the scenes so I just try not to romantisize it.

But ofcourse we all want to be in a happy realtionship because being alone can be nice... You still desire for that person who loves you and cares for you. So ofcourse you going to feel a little bit jealous when you dont have it. But thats more because in those moments you romantisize a relationship for all the good things but you forget the fact to count in the negative sides relationships can have in those moments

I think it's because you feel like you missing out on something. Seeing others happy together makes you question you own relationship status. Please instead of focusing on what you don't have, focus on what you do have and what makes you happy as an individual... I'm pretty sure you have many things to be grateful for in your life...

I had the same feeling after break up, now I know though that I am happy being single, I learned lots of things through my broken relationship that I will never repeat those mistakes and I feel hopeful I, too, will meet someone who will make me smile with love again.
