What's your ideal relationship dynamic?

What's your ideal relationship dynamic? Would you rather have one primary financial provider while the other keeps the home in order and has meals prepared for your return home? Or would you rather both be making significant financial contributions and sharing equal responsibility for taking care of the home?

Provider + Homemaker

Provider + Homemaker would be the ideal, but for many people it can't be a reality because of how wages have stagnated over the last several decades. It's a struggle for many men to make enough to be able to support a family on a single income.

I think the best way would be for women to channel their natural creativity and social IQ to pursue some kind of entrepreneurial side business to provide a little bit of extra income while taking care of the kids and house. It's unfortunate because raising kids and keeping a smooth-running household is a full time job on its own.

Both men and women these days have to put in more effort than previous generations to maintain the same living standard.

I definitely want to feel like I'm earning my keep.

My ideal woman would be wealthy however and I'd basically help her around the house.

50/50 contributions only exist on paper. they don't actually work in practice no matter how much people try to force it to happen
