Always gets worse something happens and the stress of loving together grinds on both of them slowly!

Often one cheats or wants another partner.

This happens when your married to but your forced to work together.

During COVID dolivorce shot way up

Better for the first week, then Worse for like the first two months and after that much better.

May I ask why did it get worse and then better?

Well the first week or so you are still in the 'we are on a long date lets make each other comfortable as guests' mode.
You can't always keep it up and will return to your normal life and learn new things that you tried before to not show. You learn to be together for most parts of the day 7 days a week and it will not always be perfect. If that learning to live together phase is over, it evolves into a situation where its better to have someone you love at home. Its a feeling of not only living somewhere but being at home.

I think its normal as well. Different relationships also work differently, nothing wrong with either as long as the outcome is positive.
