Real talk, bro, everyone is selling something. Check out a section of this movie "What the Bleep Do We Know", just watch 5-6 minutes, from the 58 minute mark to 1:04. They explain how our emotions are basically chemical levels in the brain, and how that correlates to what we commonly call feelings of "love":

People "fall in love" with others who elicit emotions from them. Be that a feeling of lust, safety, being understood, or a combination of those and other feelings. Is it really the person you are in love with, or the feelings you feel when they are around? And if that's the case, what happens if/when you don't feel those feelings at some point when they are around? Have you "fallen out of love", or were you ever really in love or just addicted to a feeling you had and now need to recover that feeling in some other way?
Women aren't selling their love. The phenomenon you are speaking of is people feeling safe and secure when they don't have financial worries. Someone is paying for their food, entertainment, clothing, housing, &c. as security and an expression of caring and that feeling of being cared for and taken care of elicits feelings in them of caring in return. This is very similar to a child's (ideal) experience in the world: from the moment you can remember, you are being fed, kept warm, clothed, and given instruction and encouragement. What happens? You love your parents, those who provide these things for you, who show you caring. Are children "selling love"? lol, they are the most innocent creatures in the world. But yes, they are "selling their love" the same way you are accusing women of.

This is such bullshit and getting repetitive...
Real Women are taught to love, care, and nourish things. They are usually the glue that holds families together. They sacrifice themselves for their family and put the world on their shoulders to ease the pain of their husband's and kids to ensure their happiness.
Now I understand there are some gold digging, attention seeking females out there who don't give a fuck about men and the love is as only as deep as the man pockets but seriously stop lumping every single woman in the same damn circle. It's nauseating.
Ugh. It seems like that man had some bad experience with women and was frustrated by those few women who gave importance to money/materialistic things OR they turned him down for his views, opinions or his not-so-great personality and he threw that assumption that women are shallow and greedy that's why they won't pick him.

It’s very frustrating to read such things everyday.
The same could so very easily be said of men. There's soo many posts on GAG saying that if a woman isn't young, isn't pretty then she has no value.

Honestly wish some men would grow up stop blaming women constantly. You're negative, toxic and nobody, not even your own mother, would find that appealing.
So of course decent women are going to leave because nobody hangs around toxic people unless they're toxic too... old saying birds of a feather flock together means you appeal ONLY to the sort of person that you are. Toxic people attract toxic people.
