I recently hung out with my crush. She was pretty sarcastic and dismissive of my flirting attempts and when I tried to ask her about whether she was interested in dating at the moment she said she wanted to remain single for the time being, which isn’t a lie since she’s been single for years and doesn’t talk about anyone romantically. She jokingly said she wanted to stay single “forever”. However we had a fun time, I didn’t seem to make her uncomfortable and she expressed interest in seeing me more. She also asked some questions about my future and what my goals in life were, she’s also given me gifts and shit before.

Could there be a possibility of us getting together if she ever wanted to be in a relationship or should I just completely give it? She knows that I like her and is willing to hang out with me alone… I don’t think she’s the type to fuck with me or anything.
