Parents won’t accept I want nothing to do with sibling?

My older sister is very jealous of me and so is her daughter and husband. Every time I’m around her I hate it. She starts fights all the time. Her feen daughter is a piece of shit too. She’s like a crack head with straight Fs. I catch her looking at me and cutting her eyes. My parents won’t stop bothering me about keeping a relationship with people that I don’t get along with. I simply do not like them and they do not like me. They are jealous of me.

So let your parents continue to not accept it. It’s your life. You're not forced to have a relationship with anyone that you don’t want to have one with. You’re in your 30’s, you’re a grown adult who can make their own decisions. Your parents don’t get to dictate your life, as you’re not a child. As long as you’re confident in your choice to not have your sister and her family in your life, and you don’t believe that it’s something that you’ll regret as you get older, then who is it hurting? You don’t owe her anything. Blood relation doesn’t mean much. You’re allowed to not like someone regardless of blood relation or not.

You're an adult and your parents can't force you to have a relationship with someone you don't get along with. It's their problem if they don't want to accept it. I would avoid being around my sister if our relationship was that bad.

You could try meeting your parents halfway on this issue, just to keep the peace.
