You can’t promise to never become pregnant because it’s not something that you’re 100% in control of whether you use protection or not. That’s nothing but a weird promise to make, this isn’t sentimental.. something sentimental would be a guy making a promise to stay by a woman’s side if she were to become pregnant and figuring it out together.

No, it’s a bad promise.. you can’t 100% guarantee that you won’t get her pregnant. No method of birth control is full proof, and even vasectomy isn’t always reliable.
