Boyfriend of 5 years broke it off and we had no arguments prior to this?

So my boyfriend of 5 years was ignoring my calls for like 5 days and i text him asking him whats happening and he ignored. Then I sent him a message asking him if he is having second thoughts and a day after he replied saying yes its over. We spent time together prior to that, we didn't have any arguments or anything. I then replied to him saying that he must have been thinking about a long time then. He ignored. What do i do now?

I’m very sorry this happened to you. It sounds like this was a long time coming, but you were the one blindsided. As another commenter mentioned, nobody just wakes up one morning and decides to break up for no reason. My guess is that there’s another woman.
For now, I would just let him go and live your life as best as you can. Live it so well that you won’t care if he comes back or not.

Wowww, I’m so sorry! I mean it sounds like it’s over, it’s just lame that he went about it that way. You’re right, he was thinking about this prior because people don’t just wake up and decide to end long term relationships, it takes time. I’d say to surround yourself with love, good friends, fam, you’ll need their support right now. Give yourself time to heal from this and move forward.

Don't do anything. If he says it is over and you have had no problems then it's over. So, maybe he has found some greener grass on the other side of the fence. He made his bed, now he can sleep in it - and maybe some other girl's bed too. Don't let it be a further problem for you. And don't take him back as he doesn't deserve you.

You know last year around this time we he broke up with me and prior to that if I would tell him how i feel about him not calling me for even a week and wanting to spend more time with him he would say he thinks we should break up.
