Is it that hard to show your Significant Other you appreciate how they look?

Today my fiancée wanted to act like he was offended when a stranger told me hello beautiful. Usually he’ll joke around and say don’t say nothing to him or her or don’t speak to my woman. But I replied well people on the street, complement me more than you do. Mind you while this was happening we were on the phone. He didn’t say anything after I said that and I kept asking did you hear me? Did you hear me hello damn near, screaming in his ear.

He then proceeds to say no I’m doing something. No big deal I kept quiet until he was finished. Then I asked did he hear me he said no. I had already been frustrated earlier today, because again, we were speaking earlier, and he kept dismissing what I was saying, even though I was replying directly to what he was saying to me.

Then, eventually, I just said, never mind repeatedly. Then I said, how come, you couldn’t hear me when I was damn near yelling at you through the phone or did you tune me out like you usually do?

That may seem petty, but he does do that to me a lot, but he proceeds to say good night and hang up in my face. I didn’t call back. I didn’t text to apologize to do nothing, because at the end of the day when I speak the truth, especially when it comes to our relationship He shuts down and wants to ignore me and avoid me and not be a fucking adult and handle his shit.

I’m tired of him not doing his part in the relationship but when I call him out on it, he wants to act as if I’m constantly complaining or constantly nitpicking when I get the bare minimum.
