I've found it a couple of times and *thought* I had found it a couple of times.

Achieved: Getting to know the person, building trust, understanding points of commonality, sharing.

Lost: When there's a communication breakdown/shutdown of any sort (lying, cheating, omitting, etc. etc. etc.) and only one person is being honest, love can't be sustained.

Kept: In love and friendship, trust, honesty and clarity are key, along with kindness and compassion. Both people have to actively want it and seek it out in themselves and in the other person.
