If someone reconciles with a cheater, how are they able to get intimate with them again?

Whenever I hear cases of a reconciled relationship or marriage after infidelity, how are able to even get intimate with the cheater?

The worse case I've heard is a cheater that got caught being intimate with the other person but even that can be forgiven too if the person wants to. So years later, they stayed together, supposedly became stronger than ever, have daughters and so on. Their children were born years after that infidelity.

But honestly, knowing very well the other person was all over them, how are they able to get intimate again? How can anyone touch them another, knowing another person did that? How can you even kiss them?

My guess is because they probably cheated as well and they aren’t saying a word , my one ex that cheated on me tried getting back with me and apologized to me like crazy , every time she would touch me I would push her off and say No , I am not feeling it with you anymore , you destroyed that between us by you being a cheating whore so I left her and moved on and ended up having sex with another girl that I hit it off with , That other girl ended up going back to her boyfriend after her and I had sex a bunch of times , and I was like why are you going back to a guy that cheated on you? My ex that was trying to get me back , was still trying to get me back , so I said fuck it every girl is a cheater , so I my as well get laid , So her and I met up and talked and we ended up in bed plus I had some alcohol in me as well that helped me have sex with her again little did she realize I was just using her for sex , because I still didn’t feel a real connection with her anymore , so I fucked her like she was some random chick I met at a bar that just wanted sex. Being with her again , did not feel the same whatsoever because the connection was broken between us by her cheating , so after we had sex , I never called her again and moved on , she still chased me and I was doing everything she could to be back with me , So I had a change of heart and gave her another chance mainly cuz I felt sorry for her even though I was so upset with her , part of me knew it was stupid of me to do , but I tried and started to work things out with her but I realized I am missing out on having a real connection with someone , so I started distancing myself from her even though I knew she was sorry for what she did , I ended up meeting someone else that was sweet and caring to me. And beautiful to my eyes , and ended up in bed with this other girl so I ended my relationship with my girlfriend immediately after that and told her the truth that I cheated on her with someone else. I honestly didn’t feel bad for my decision because the feelings weren’t the same like they were before. So it will just be a matter of time before one of them decides to cheat and the relationship probably won’t last , they are wasting their time , unless they want to Lafayette in a unhappy relationship, People are fucking crazy and desperate, basically what it comes down to.
