Is accepting compliments a form of cheating?

I met a man recently who kept complimenting me, telling me I’m cute, I have a nice voice, beautiful smile etc… He was very kind and respectful but still pushy. I made it very obvious I have a boyfriend and I would not reciprocate with compliments or showing interest. He told me he wishes I was single to which I would say I’m not single, but he said it’s okay because he’ll compliment me but I don’t have to compliment him back. I still feel guilty though because he made me laugh, I said thank you, and I felt a little flushed. We also talked for quite a while because we got along well. Would this be considered cheating? Or micro-cheating? I’m never gonna see this man again so I’m not sure.

Nope, compliments are a part of life and if you are an attractive person it’s going to be a given that people want to point out your beauty. Cheating all has to do with your actions in terms of if you decide to take things too far

It's not even close to cheating. There's nothing wrong with accepting compliments. You were honest with him. You didn't flirt. You did nothing wrong. It was just a conversation and you are allowed to have conversations.
What would be the alternative? Run? Act like a bitch?

If someone flirts with you after knowing you are taken you shouldn't be communicating with them anymore

It's not cheating, but this man doesn't know how to take "no" for an answer or respect boundaries. You may believe you're never going to see this man again, but don't put yourself in a Baby Reindeer situation. People are not alright out here.
