Too vague & ambiguous to answer. I'd need a specific situation. Actually I think you've accidentally brought up an interesting topic. We seem to be fond of reducing everything to an aphorism. I think we believe that having an overall collective piece of knowledge to guide us because it's easier than analyzing every situation as it actually exists. My guess would be that if I can reduce every situation in a specific category to a Y/N, T/F answer will make our lives easier going forward. I don't think it can or should be approached in that manner as it leads to divides like some of the partisan issues that dominate politics anymore. Sorry, about the lecture. Too much coffee and I start to actually write the bullshit floating around my mind.

No need to apologise. The lecture is welcomed. When I post certain questions like this one people always tend to think that it's because I have an opinion or i take a side to a quotation and more often than not it is thought that I agree with said statement or quotation. That isn't the case at all. I post these kind of questions more as a provocation to inspire people to consider or think or use a part of their brain most don't use anymore which is rationality or logic. So too much coffee or not you reacted with something of substance which is really what I am looking to see in the answers to my questions.
