Yes.

Since it’s posted in relationships in the context in a relationship it does win. You just have to be careful because things can seem and feel like love that aren’t. It’s manipulation… Other times yeah someone can feel love for a time but flip like a switch. You have to differentiate genuine love from what isn’t.

Genuine love grows over time… Fake love weakens once the thrill is gone. Genuine love is (mostly) unconditional. Now… You have to have some standards because not everyone can love unconditionally. If a relationship has became one sided, if it’s become abusive, or there is cheating involved. Leave.

But yes. Relationships where people genuinely love one another for who they are. Not just loving someone based off how they feel in the moment. Love someone for what they can do for them or give to them. Building a fantasy of someone in your head just to become resentful later. Misleading someone by putting fourth a fantasy version of yourself that laters is seen through and again… can end in resentment.

Completely disagree. There are so many people whose lives are tragic and full of betrayal. I think in some scenarios, especially in regards to justice, love is not the right choice to make either. If someone hurts or kills your loved ones, the answer is not love. You should not turn the other cheek or give the offender a hug. You need to dish out punishment.

I would say in this world, the reality is that love rarely wins. When it does, it can be beautiful though. But maybe that's what makes it beautiful... the fact you don't see it often.

Love can involve 2 people but one could be a narcissist or sociopath lying to get what they want without any concept of love.

People are filled with greed and jealousy. They will try and ruin what they can’t have.

And love is rare. There are more of them than there are people in love.

So love will not always win. But if you find it, it’s worth fighting for. Even if it’s only brief. A lot of people will go to their graves never having experienced it.

Depends how you look at it, yes love should win overall. However it is so pure at times it will cause you to sacrifice yourself for another person.

Like when being a parent and having a kid thats addicted to drugs. You love that kid so much you want to help them. However they love the drug so much they take your love to help and use it to love their drug and further harm themselves...

You never give up on your kids you love you will always try to help, to the point the loving and helpful thing to do is to cut off the love. You both suffer so you both can heal... love wins but gosh it doesn't feel like a win. It feels like a battle for the rest of both your lives...
