Is it weird my significant other got upset about me playing with other peoples kids especially with us not having any?

We had a house warming the other weekend and some of our friends brought their kids. Most of the kids were around 3 years old. Later in the evening when everyone had left my boyfriend says I really didn’t like seeing you with another man’s kids today. I’m confused by the comment when we don’t even have kids.

Okay, he does need to communicate his feelings his feelings are his feelings and I appreciate when someone can communicate like a adult without being controlling either. Just saying how they feel and talking things out that means you’re giving your side of things too without a argument.

I don’t think it’s wrong at all as long as your intentions are pure kids are beautiful innocent souls. I love children it also says wow she’s good with kids she would make a good mom possibly in the future. But that’s me.

Look, some people are weird about stuff and some people aren’t meant to be together because they’re looking for different things. What this could signal is deeper insecurities inside of himself that he hasn’t expressed. I would ask him about that too.
