1 yIt's really hard to say what your situation is since you are just an Anon with no picture and I only know you're 24 because you just told me. I mean are you ugly or good looking, fat or in shape, value your career or family more? There are so many factors that I can't really vote in your poll.
I guess you need to decide what you really want for you. I think you have something going by being in law school, and you don't have any romantic interest going on... so stick to your path. This path could lead you to meet your romantic interest, but if not, at least it will put a roof over your head. I wasn't worried about a possible relationship when I stepped into the world, but I don't have the same biological clock and desire to have children if that's what it's about. With all that said it's really hard for me to just come to some conclusion.
I will tell you... that a lot of the chicks that I've kept on my roster were chicks in your situation. They had a goal, but they were still horny. I was perfect for the role because I could satisfy their needs and not bother them while they need to focus on what they're doing. Of course I was fine with those situations because I just want to bang a chick and then go do my own thing... just like the chicks wanted. They were all really great girls and they went on to do great things.
I'm just saying you have options. I'm assuming you're not like some INCEL that has no hope at all and couldn't get laid if you tried. Also...24... honey baby, I didn't make it to college until I was like 26 and saw military combat to pay for it. Boom... another factor just popped up in my stupid thinking meat... how are you paying for this school? So is the career really worth all the debt and the scholastics to you? It's really about what's more important to you as a person.

Just don't get with this guy 10 Reply

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yIt depends on what you really want. I’ll just say this first of all. Your career won’t have much emphasis on whether a man dates you or not. A woman’s career doesn’t benefit women. So men don’t even look at that as it being an attractive trait the way women look at men like that. Women can think that’s wrong, mean, misogynistic or whatever but that’s just how a lot of men are. A majority of women don’t support their husbands as far as being the breadwinner of the house. They never really have that’s part of the reason why we don’t look at your career cause more than likely you’ll never pay for everything 100%. It also depends on how long you plan on going to school. I’d you’re going to be a lawyer or doctor or something like that you’ll be in your late 20s by than. I’m not saying women in their late 20s, 30s and so on don’t have a chance of finding a man. Your chances are just slimmer. Most men want a girl who is younger. They value youth and fertility, a better chance of having a healthy child overall. Yes yes I know some women are going to say not true a friend of mine was 30 before she had her first child. There’s exceptions. The other thing w being a career woman is a lot of men will feel as though you don’t have time for them. So that’s not what they really want. There’s always exceptions just so you know. Women always seem to take things personal like it’s directed at them so they have to chime in with well I let my husband or I had a child in my 30s. I’m just telling you how a lot of men think.

Girl focus on your career. That is maybe a once in a life chance to study at that school and imagine you chose not to for that guy and then later break up with him. I mean there is a chance that you two end up staying together forever but whats the chances? Do you even know him well enough? Would he leave his work or studies to come to your country?
If you really like each other you can make a long distance relationship work.. and also its not about that but he’ll respect you more when he sees you didn’t ditch your career for him. Im literally smelling regret from this question😂. You can find a way to make it work with him without losing the chance to study at that law school. Maybe have an open conversation and tell him how you feel about it and see if he’s willing to do a compromise. you'll find a way to see each other from time to time …and maybe he can come to your country if its easier for him.I was in a long distance relationship and its not easy but if you love each other distance might make your love even stronger.

I read your update I am sorry you are feeling this way. Its hard to tell why exactly you have a difficult time making friends or in which country you live. So if you don’t mind maybe tell in which country do you live, in a city or small town? It kind of sounds like it has something to do with your environment or family.
I didn’t have real friends during all my school years except one. I was very shy and isolated and didn’t t talk much. And at that time I felt like Im so different from all the other kids my age. This changed once I went to university. Because there you are with a group of young people who all have chosen the same major and have similar interests… so thats when I started to come out of my shell.
Like why does it sound like if you went to law school you can’t have friends 😅 what would be different if you moved to another country or moved to where your boyfriend is? If the problem is you being shy or not knowing how to initiate friendship then start to talk to talk to people.. at school.. when you’re out.. even if its just small talk. And with time you’ll get to know new people and develop social skills.
The thing with your question is its confusing because what does this guy have to do with all of that? Like is he going to fix your social life?
I don't know but I wouldn’t put all my eggs in one basket. To think that I give it all up for this one relationship and maybe it won’t last. Then you end up alone and with no job.. Why can’t you have both. You are still young you can meet new people, date, make friendships.
If you need anyone to talk to you can message me in private.
1 yI know this is hard, but seriously, get your career under your belt and done. You never know what life will throw your way and your partner/spouse could leave, die, or become disabled and be unable to support you. You don't even need to have a fancy career. Just something that you can fall back on if things don't work out the way you planned, and allows you to have a comfortable standard of living without accumulating debt. If you focus and get your education out of the way, you'll be done before you know it.

Oh well , he wasn’t meant to be , Someone that truly loves you or wants to be with you will stand by your side and wait for you no matter what , someone that truly doesn’t love you or cares about you , will not. You have a long life ahead of you and you will notice that people come and go out of our lives all the time , but the ones that actually love and care about you , will be by your side forever. So if he truly wants to be with you , he will wait for you and support you while you are focusing on your career. If he doesn’t? Just move on and you will eventually find a guy that will stand by your side no matter what

Can he move to where you're at
If that school was hard to get into and you are there you are in it you can't back out of it don't you dare back out of it you will probably end up meeting a guy there too
You have that opportunity for school and you might not get it again so you have to do that and if he's absolutely love you he'll come to where you're at to see you10 Reply- 960 opinions shared on Relationships topic.
1 yHmmm. I’d say pursue your career but one of my best friends did just that. I was crazy about her. She knew, but she didn’t want to get tied down with relationships and wanted to travel and move up in her job. Ten years later she comes back to me, a career professional and wanting to restart things. By then I was now married with kids. The hardest thing was admitting I loved her but our chance had passed and she needed to move on
I can tell you at that moment she didn’t give two shits about her career. Love lost wasn’t worth the professional gain

1 yThere are different stages of life. Rn is the time for you to focus on career. Law school is 3 years full time. It is hard but interesting and highly rewarding. You will still be young when you finish. If you had a situation with someone who would be able to be actively supportive of you while you finished your education, that might be different. If it's right, it can still happen later; if not, then someone else is in your future. Who knows who you might meet and share a lot in common with in these next few years. At the very least, you are likely to make some really good friends. Life is full of choices and getting priorities right is vital. What you choose now, in this season of your life, will greatly affect the rest of your life. Love is a strong pull, but succeeding in relationships also has a lot to do with timing. It has to be not only the right person, but the right time.
10 Reply1.4K opinions shared on Relationships topic. it will happen when you least expect it.
You will be fine.
Enjoy your free time.
Someday all too soon it will be a perfect weekend to get out on the bike for a quick 3,000 mile weekend trip to watch the national sprint car championship race, but nope, you are stuck at her 4th cousins wedding out of state surrounded by people you have no clue who they are and some snot nosed kid drooling on your shoe while you are eating a plate of lukewarm chicken something or other drinking warm bud lite beer.
Ahhh the memories you will make!20 Reply
1 yMy roommate just turned 28 and she’s a lawyer. When she first moved in with me she just finished law school so I seen that whole process. Her bar exams were so stressful for her that I had to take her to a mental health clinic because I didn’t know how to help her. Other days I would stay up until 4am helping her write law papers for her exams to make sure they are proofread and done right. Now that she has all that established and she’s a fully licensed lawyer she said she might be ready to start dating. I would say focus on your career first so there’s no distractions and then once you’re comfortable in your career then try out dating.

stop trying to control things:)

Having the first guy who stumbled into your life stay with you won’t solve the problem
Go to school
Study and become a lawyer
Give him a chance to grow with you or just go on your separate ways
But really you should be trying to socialize with classmates and joining clubs and making friends which will help you have a different perspective on life00 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. 100% focus on love, not a question for girls. You are currently in your dating prime and you can find a suitable life partner for a stable family. Once you have him you can always choose to focus on your career afterwards since that has a much more lenient timelimit, and after being together the career choices you want to make may differ. If you focus on career past the female dating prime you will have a smaller pool of quality partners who are willing to date you.

1 ycareer.
you have a ldr talking-ship from what you wrote. Why would you prioritise that?
Unless you're some stupid ass psycho, there will be someone else if this dude doesn't fit the bill. It isn't that hard, and you shouldn't be limiting your own success educationally wise because of a dude. That is telling of a) the dude's priorities if he's been spoken to about this and b) your own attitude and immatureness
00 Reply 2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Finish school for sure. If you don't, you'll regret it.
Once it is over, you'll be in a better position to seek romance. With a law degree you'll be more desirable to successful men. And you'll be in a position to support yourself while you search of the right partner.01 Reply614 opinions shared on Relationships topic. I am with the majority here... focus on your CAREER NOW. Romance will always come later. I made the mistake of neglecting my career planning and focused on getting laid and romance, AND when I had WONDERFUL career opportunities here in California I did not have the EXPERIENCE necessary to capitalize on those opportunities to the maximum, although I did try my best.
Career NOW, romance will come.
00 Reply562 opinions shared on Relationships topic. It depends on what YOU want out of life. IF a family and relationship is most important then work on achieving that, if it's career advancement then go there.
HOWEVER, the dating market and opportunities for career women get smaller and smaller as they get older and more career dependent. Most men aren't bothered by a woman's career later in life or her commercial achievements. They're more interested in her femininity and mental stability (lack of chaos and drama in her demeanour).

1 ySpeaking as a guy who survived law school; focus on school and then revisit the question of love later. You're quite young right now... The right kind of love situation isn't going to give you an "either/or choice like that.
You should go with the more sure thing.

Anonymous(36-45)1 yYou can't answer this question until you figure out what YOU want. Your energy would be best spent figuring that out. Don't do what "society" wants to you to do or what your professors/teachers want you to do or what your parents want you to do or what your friends want you to do. Figure out what YOU want. Then prioritize that.

You can get a law degree at anytime in life, you need to start your family now.
If you cannot do that at the same time you need to deal with what needs dealing with now, now. Put off what can be put off later.00 ReplyWell, republican men, would tell you, that, you shouldn't even have a career. since they believe in "conservative ideals which is "housewife""
But, we live in a society, where, if both parents aren't working, you won't survive, I guarantee it. So, it's up to you, on what you want
