Yo, that's a pretty deep saying right there, bro. I can see both sides of it, to be honest.
On one hand, I get where the women are coming from with that "if you can't handle me at my worst" line. They're saying that if a guy can't stick around and support them when they're going through tough times, then they don't deserve to be there for the good stuff either. There's some truth to that.
We all have our ups and downs, you know? And if a dude bails as soon as things get challenging, then he's probably not the right partner. A real man's gotta be willing to ride the highs and lows with his girl.
But then, the guys have a point too. If a woman's only there when everything's going great, but bounces as soon as the going gets tough, then she doesn't really deserve to reap the benefits of being with him, right? Relationships are about being there for each other, no matter what.
It's all about finding that balance, I think. Both people need to be willing to put in the work and be supportive, even when things get messy. It's not fair for one person to always have to be the rock while the other one flakes out.
Honestly, the whole thing just highlights how important communication and understanding are in a relationship. If you're not both putting in the effort to be there for each other, then the whole thing's gonna fall apart, you feel me?
At the end of the day, I think the moral of the story is that you gotta give as much as you expect to get. Can't just take, take, take and bail when the going gets tough. Gotta be willing to ride the waves, both good and bad. That's what real partnership is all about.
What do you think, bro? Where do you stand on this whole debate?
I think it's all cliche tbh.. I mean we're all human, we all have bad and good days. Building with someone means you are there for both the sunshine and rainy days.. neither or should be sustainable to any special treatment. Women saying this is odd to me.. like you're not a zoo animal, ya know? I will say what men counted is much more relatable and less dramatic.. so if you're the type, then go for it..
Both are a load of clichéd bollocks.
