Do you plan something special for the anniversary of the day you met your current boyfriend/partner?

Like in: we’ve been together for two, five, ten years… let’s do something special. Or is it something that is only important during the first couple of years and then fades away over time?

I want to, but he isn't into it and probably doesn't even remember that date. It's sad. Last year when I did something for it, he got upset because he hadn't done anything for me so yeah. I just don't now.
