Sure do. It just so happens that it was around Valentine's day, 14 years ago, that my girlfriend and I met. It was around that same time, two years later, that we moved in together - and lived happily ever after.
My girlfriend - and the three little gifts she gave me who call me Daddy - is the center of my universe and I don't even want to think of my life without her. (We, somewhat to our own surprise as we are actually otherwise rather traditional, were turned off by the idea of being married.) So we make Valentine's Day special.
Typically, for the family part, we have a dinner with the kids, putting a card at each of their place settings with a box of candy or a plush toy. I get my girlfriend flowers and a card and she - in what has become something of a half-joke/half-tradition - gets me a card and sexy underwear.
Then the next day we take the kids to Bumpa and Munga's (Grandma and Grandpa's) house for a long weekend. Then we go for a long weekend - (Friday, Sat. Sun. Monday) - either to the Hotel Washington (we live in the northern Virginia suburbs of Washington DC) or to a little B&B we found on the Chesapeake Bay and spend the whole weekend. (This year it is the Chesapeake.)
If we do DC, it is a play at the Kennedy Center, candlelit dinners with me in coat and tie and girlfriend in a beautiful dress, breakfasts in bed, dancing and - oh yeah - plenty of cuddling and sex. If the Chesapeake, it is walks around the little town - St. Michael's - and on the bay and maybe drives to other little towns. Little antique shops - girlfriend is a collector and likes interior decoration as a hobby. It is a little more informal, but candlelit dinners and - oh yeah - lots of sex.
This year it is off to the Chesapeake. "Bumpa" and "Munga" (my gfd's parents, a. k. a Grandpa and Grandma) will pick the kids up tomorrow morning. Then my girlfriend and I will be off to the Bay - back on Monday night. Just the two of us. Little shops for my girlfriend and I to peruse hand in hand and - if the weather holds - walks by the water and tours of quaint little towns. Oh, and yes, romantic dinners and lots of time in bed doing... well... you know.
It is always an incredible weekend and we are really looking forward to it. Though the funny part is that we invariably end up talking about the kids a lot of the time. It is funny - we look forward to the time away, but we love our children and sort of miss them. I am, especially, the most besotted milksop of a Daddy you will ever meet. I work in politics but my most prized job title is "Family Tickle Monster."
Any holiday is just a day unless you invest meaning in it. It has just become the fashion that Valentine's Day is out of fashion. Unless you have, as I am so lucky to have, someone who makes it fashionable by giving it meaning. For me, it will always mean the time when I met the woman who changed my life for the better - and when I wake up next to her and feel her warm skin against mine as she sleeps peacefully in my arms, I know what meaning Valentine's Day will have for me.

dinner out. I sent her flowers recently to lift her up and really works.
I hope your honey is pleased, she's lucky woman.
That's so sweet! She's a very lucky lady 🙂.
We're going to the big city to for the V-weekend. If its not canceled, I'm bringing the boyfriend to a fet lounge (he has no idea!). Sunday is to recover with a walk in central park and maybe find the man a good steak.
Why did you choose to have a double date for VD? The flowers idea is great.
I'm having my engagement party on February 14th. We planned to spend the day together too.

I am LDR with My partner. We sent Each other Gifts. It's Also 3 Years We started our Relationshipbut May3 Got IN a Relationship. xxoo
We'll probably get a dinner at Texas Roadhouse or Chili's.
We both requested the day off but we don’t know what we’re doing yet. We don’t have too much money to go all out so we’ll probably end up staying at home, watching movies and getting take out
I'm married. We don't have any plans as of yet.
This will be our 4th V-Day as a married couple, but our 11th total. We certainly have the money to do something special but neither of us are really into that type of stuff.
We'll probably order slightly fancier take-out that night 😂I really love the idea of doing homamde things, I'd be writing poems and sending him sweet little messages throughout the day telling him the many things I love about him and will try to send something that he'll love to the office.
As for me this year it's little ones birthday so got an activity and a meal booked on Sunday and will be decorating the room and doing the cake on the Monday for a little party at home.I'll be preparing dinner for my "female friend" but I'm not getting caught up in the commercial endorsement of a dsy that has no significance, when everyday should be about showing your love and appreciation towards your partner.

My partner is working most of the day but when he gets off work during the evening we’ve planned to have dinner together and spend some time together. We’re both very introverted so going out and doing something isn’t really our style.
Nothing will happen on Valentine’s Day. I will probably be working anyway.
The only females who share my bed are a cat and a dog.I have never had a partner on Valentine’s Day before. It’s funny cause even with my ex we broke up for 2 weeks once and it coincided during Valentine’s Day.
I will be spending it with my friend though :)me and my boyfriend are going to his family's beach house on Friday and staying until Valentines Day and on our way home Monday were gunna go out to eat and maybe see a movie or something like that.
I am as single like a pole. Girls apparently do not love me for whatever reason. Too bad, they're missing out on very romantic love.
So that means I will spend valentines day watching premium videos on...It's gonna be free for that day.
Or I could just hire a certain girl for the night so to speak.Because my mother in law is moving out of state my wife will be helping her while I work. First Valentine's since we meet we won't be together. But then again we never really made a big deal out of the holiday either.
i dont know yet, im recently not recently married ( 6 months ago) and pregnant so i dont know how ill feel on doing much
