When it comes to a traditional relationship, who's responsible for mowing the lawn in the household, the man or the woman?

Well if someone’s not working they should be doing the majority of the labor it’s called equal effort two people working equally as hard to support and take care of one another in different roles but unfortunately it hardly ever works out that way. Unless the man just genuinely likes mowing or they mow together.

In reality they rarely ever work out so well they end up one sided because a lot of times the woman have a fantasy of living a easy life without lifting hardly a finger except for some menial takes. When she finds out motherhood takes a lot of work they start becoming bitter and angry.

A real relationship is equal effort and in the past it was middle class families where the women were staying home mostly because the husband was making a significant amount of money more then the wife was as well as it was affordable. Both people worked to support one another and the wife could work if she needed to. Before that women did a LOT more then most people would ever imagine. I think people would go back to that time and come straight back if they could because they wouldn’t last a day.

In trad marriages the wife was responsible for inside the house and husband outside the house. Since the lawn is outside the house it’s been the husband.

Either the man is responsible for mowing the lawn, or the woman is responsible for signing the check to pay someone else to do it.
