Should I dump this person?


I (25f) been talking to this guy (25m) for about a month and a half. The first month we were long distance and he seemed fine. However, when the gap closed as in, I moved to another city that was closer to him (for other reasons obviously not for him,) he was persistent about hanging out right away. at first, I was OK with it because we had been talking for a while and I figured why not he seemed pretty cool.

However, he sort of invited himself into my apartment. Again I thought really nothing of it. My friend said that’s pretty normal as we’ve been talking for a month however, I didn’t really feel that way after reflection. He also apparently had told his whole family about me and they were all saying how they can’t wait to meet me.

Another thing was that he says he’s somewhat in contact with his ex-girlfriend and when I asked him about it, he said he would “probably only reach out on her birthday” and then got upset when I cut the convo short. I can’t help but feel a little uncomfortable and I’m not sure if it’s me just being an asshole or if I have valid reasoning. He’s also a little “too nice” where it almost comes off as nauseating. i’m not really sure how to feel about any of this so I was wondering what anybody else thought…

we just got into another mini argument because I was tired and I called him really quick just to say good night and he was pretty quiet on the other end so I said I’m gonna go back to sleep. He became almost hysterical and kept basically asking me if we were OK and stuff like that. and wanted to make sure that I wasn’t mad at him even though I had explained a few times that I was tired. I’m starting to get a little overwhelmed and I guess uncomfortable?
Should I dump this person?
