Do you consider serial monogamists unstable?

While they don't cheat while in a relationship, they can keep accumulating up to 10-12 (or more) temporary live-in partners during the years. They are usually short-lived relationships, never making it past the "falling in love (experiencing the highs) stage, stuck at the romantic stage but never staying with one of them, never teaching the actually mature love stage, committing.

They live together with all those people but in the end, it's always ending in break-ups. Do you consider them unstable people?

If you're sane about dating, you look for mentally compatible people of the oppposite sex, so what happens is the supply is going to be very limited. There aren't enough people like you for you to become a serial dater without settling a bunch of times. Most people who are eilling to settle for just about anyone, are sluts/players (people not looking for monogamy), becsuse anyone else is picky enough to turn down people who are not like them.

Someone that keeps jumping from relationship to relationship so fast obviously has insecurity issues and lacks the maturity needed to form lasting connections with a partner. They can even have emotional problems that prevents them from committing.

How are you so familiar with how many relationships this guy had, and how long they lasted? If he is a serial monogamist it means he stays loyal to one woman at a time. If the relationship ends it doesn't mean he's immature, insecure, or has emotional issues. Such a wild leap... maybe he picks horrible women.

Someone older man in his 60's once admitted to living together with 18 gfs in his life. He's single now (no kids) and still looking for the one. If the case is picking horrible women then that's his fault for not learning after the 2nd time and doing a bad vetting process.
Falling for the same mistake over and over, all leading to frequent break-ups doesn't seem like a sign of maturity.
