What makes people think it’s necessary to answer someone QUESTIONS in the DMs/Messages?

And then It's they send me back something on my comment. I will either stay on the comments and send them back a text

but it depends on what it's all about, Because I don't want to say something to embarrass anybody in the comments

And I think it's better that way I knot know
That the asker of the question just reads it not everyone on gag

Some people just like to answer questions privately and not be judged by a bunch of people for their answer I get DM’s all the time from people answering my questions because they don’t want to judged for their opinion of things.

Sometimes, I answer questions with references to personal experiences I have had, and there are some experiences that I do not want to make public.

Some people aren't comfortable asking their questions in the public forum, for whatever reason. It's about some private situation, or whatever. It's not like anyone in your personal life is realistically going to trace your questions back to you in real life. I guess that's the concern though?

Then there are other people who have this bizarre approach to their questions where they don't include all the relevant information the first time they ask the question. So, they ask a question, and then you answer, and then they add some detail that totally changes things and you update your answer based on that. And then they'll add some more detail, and so on.

It's quicker for the second type of people to direct message, rather than updating on the question page.

@itsannalee Perhaps their answer is something they want to be more discreet with? I have answered some questions there that I did not want to air in the public forum.

Some of the people here, know and understand that, and I think it is a good idea to not disclose an opinion 'publicly' if you feel it may get you some unwanted blow back.

It just depends I’ve done it when I wanted to ask more information but didn’t want them to have to share it to the internet. As well as some people message me to continue conversations especially if there is more details they want to share they don’t feel comfortable with sharing here.

You can turn the PM’s off though if they are becoming a nuisance to you.

Either they ask a personal question or don’t want to be seen asking the question as in they shouldn’t be talking to you because they are involved with someone else. Besides some girls like it in public…. lol.
