Do a Guy and a Gal have to *enjoy* talking to each other for love to even be considered/possible?

I know there’s people who talk to each other but know how to keep a conversation going. It made me wonder about couples who talk and seem to get along well but don’t seem to really be into each other.

I feel like if one or neither of them actually enjoy the exchanges in conversation, then it won’t be possible for them to love each other and saying that they do would be somewhat of a joke.

Thoughts?

False, people can still love each other even when they don’t genuinely enjoy talking to each other all the time. Or at all.

This question (I’m glad) has an obvious answer and many of you know, but it helps us to focus on mutual relationships. Not keeping conversations going just because we are infatuated with them. Genuine interest- leads to genuine love. Much better than small talk/tolerance, and forced conversations (by the crusher).

I can't see how I would ever fall in love with someone I don't enjoy talking to. If I don't enjoy talking to people, then I don't even have the motivation to get to know them and thus have no chance in actually falling in love with them, let alone get to a place where I choose to love them. Because who wants to choose to love someone you don't enjoy talking too, communicating with your partner is a key ingredient in a successful relationship.

True both should put efforts together, talk and initiate conversations to enjoy each other's company. If they love each other. I believe in mutual understanding, mutual efforts and mutual interest in relationship and love.

But shouldn’t it come naturally? What’s the difference between putting in efforts for a potential partner, a significant other, or a coworker or friend? I feel like if the effort is needed than it’s too much of a strain or a chore to make it work instead of letting it flow and enjoying that flow. What do you think?

But suppose you are unwell, super busy and your partner texted you. At least you put effort to reply him that you are busy at that moment. Will contact within few minutes or hours. As some people just read and don't reply at all. Which is also not good idea.

Right! I feel like it’s a given thing/component, but I feel like a big issue many people have found themselves in before is tolerating someone they don’t even have chemistry with or neglecting/forsaking their interests/ topic of interests just to appease the person they are crushing over. So they will keep the conversation going even when and if they don’t enjoy it. Then the ones who don’t like the person crushing, are probably just doing small talk to be polite. We have to be self aware and honestly asses when the conversation alone isn’t mutually enjoyed cause then the love will never be mutual. It’d be one sided 😬
