How long does it really take for a man to know if he wants to marry you?

If he is a wise man , he wouldn’t marry a girl so quickly , 6 months is way to soon in my opinion, it took me 5 years to even consider marrying my wife , we had 2 kids’ together before I even put a ring on her finger after we got married , we made our son , things were great between us for a long time , I thought her and I would be married forever , but unfortunately it didn’t go that way , when she decided to be selfish and ruin our marriage and family. At my age now I feel like finding a lifetime partner is very hard to come by and I don’t think I will ever get married again , because of what happened with my wife and I , My trust for girls’ is not the same as it was before, especially in today’s world on how selfish people have become compared to back in the day , before social media was really on the picture and we didn’t carry around phones with internet access. I feel social media destroyed the foundations of relationships and marriages because of how sneaky and disrespectful people have become. I am not giving up on finding true love , I just think it’s harder to find these days , and my ass is not going to put a ring on a girls’ finger after 6 months whatsoever

I don't think this question has any set answer. I think that usually, you do feel like you know with the right person. Probably pretty quickly. The problem is, its very easy to feel that and be wrong. That's the more common thing.

A man who meets his soulmate might be thinking about marrying her one day... after a few months. It just doesn't mean anything if someone feels that way after 6 months. That happens all the time. People are terrible at knowing whether the person they're with is the right person. That's why so many relationships where people say "I love you" end. People are wrong about this stuff so regularly, that it doesn't mean anything.
