I really need a female’s point of view
for those who were in a relationship with someone for more than a year:
how did you feel after you left him for someone, suppose you had downtimes. He became complacent, lost attraction to him, whatever (as long as he wasn't abusive or cheated on you)… after 3-5 months (and onwards) of being with this new guy, from the honeymoon stage till after, can you tell me what you eventually felt?
how did the previous boyfriend handle it, and did him expressing his pain through the first months drive you further away? Did you end up missing him when he went silent?

What Girls Said
When I was 19 he was the third guy I had been intimate with and thought we really had something going. He was a paramedic and taking a new job in northern Illinois convincing me to come with him which I reluctantly did. One month into this move I walk in the apt after spending the day job hunting to find him and this other chick naked together. At the time I couldn't remember where, but was sure I had seen this girl before, anyhow he announces we are all going to live and fuck together. I simply turned around, walked out the door, got a cab to take me to airport in Chicago where I found a flight to Atlanta and from there on to Sarasota, apologized to my friends and employer to get my job back and never had another LTR until I met this guy four years later while on vacation who has become my life. That girl I later remembered her as one who also worked out of the fire station he was stationed at.
thanks. although i am asking women who did the cheating or left their ltr boyfriend for someone else
Life is all about change. Changes are always good if the changes are positive ones.
