I think narcissists are the ones demanding too much among other dark personalities. Some good people have unrealistic expectations but they eventually grow up.

Every relationship is different so it doesn’t make someone bad because they want different things. But people sitting around bashing people they’re not even dating are usually losers themselves who are bitter because the kind of people they want reject them.

But relationships come down to compatibility what both people are looking for. Nobody’s entitled to a free date however people can choose to not go out with someone again part of dating is to see who you’re compatible with.

So yes women can if they choose to but never expect it. Just like a woman shouldn’t expect it either at least be prepared to pay your half.

Generally no. It does indeed end up becoming a 50/50 thing (except maybe right at the begining). Most women are going to automatically assume that things will be split financially if things progress.

my impression is that women still want a man with a steady income... if they want kids then they probably want more... my kids' school fees were 1/2 big. But I don't think the focus on the man's earnings is what it was in the 1960s and 1970s. It still matters more for men than it does for women, but other attributes probably matter more.
