I don’t think so because I certainly can’t if I’m gone for more than two to three days. I I’ve traveled for work conference and training and I’ve been with my male coworkers.
370 opinions shared on Relationships topic. So you can’t go 3 days without your partner before you’re willing to cheat on him?
It’s not the work trip clearly there’s a larger issue there
I think faithfulness is either in someone’s nature or it isn’t
The work trip doesn’t trigger the urge to cheat
That urge needs to be there all along
The trip gives opportunity
But then I read most of these replies and it seems like work trips are in fact a breeding ground for infidelity
It’s a shame.
I’m single but my last work trip was with a gorgeous female coworker I have and she’s married
If I knew it was fair game I might have taken the opportunity…
(I’m being ironic. Adultery is not my style. I much rather find a single woman while being single myself and do things without guilt)00 Reply

11 moI don't care.
I would never have dated or committed to any woman who travels or put us into a "long distance" situation. So that isn't anything I'd accept in my life.
I really do not care about her job. I don't give a shit about her climbing ladders or getting more pay. If they offer more pay for travel, turn it down. If they require it? I don't care, quit and go find another job.
If she takes a job and starts traveling, I know for a fact I'm not going to be happy in that relationship and that is a thing I won't accept in my life so I'd just end it.
I don't care is my answer to the question because I'd never even let that scenario into my life. If she starts to add travel for work to our lives then I walk away. She isn't the one for me.
More of this feminism, career is her purpose shit bubbling up again. Women treating their job with such importance that it moves ahead of her family. Family takes a back seat to her boss and her job.

See, women out there need to have the same thinking as you. We guys have taken a lot heat for years. But society never calls out women for their faults.

@Jennz6 so do men. We guys have our faults, I’ll admit that, I do. Hell, I’m not interested in dating right now cause of stuff going on with my health. I gotta be happy in order for someone to be happy with me.
I’m just saying, social media is giving women the impression that they don’t have to bring anything to the table in dating. Just purely exist. Social media fucks shit up

“no… I don’t think so.” And then I read the context in the question and after the surprise of it, yeah… my answer is the same. Just seems like a chance to do trouble. Too much of a tease. Like teacher leaving class room. Just seems like the chance to not be serious and never get caught or reprimanded. So maybe some portion of them plan not to cheat, and love their partner, but the idea of forbidden and no one knows seems to just take away the integrity. I would hope I’m wrong though. Real relationships need more reliability. Trust. And commitment.
00 Reply4.6K opinions shared on Relationships topic. Some do some don’t , just the way it goes , I knew a girl that cheated when her husband went away on business trips , so it isn’t always the partner leaving that is up to no good , the person at home can be just as bad

11 moMost do, some don't. There's definitely more opportunity, and temptation, to cheat.

11 moDepends on the man or woman. I've seen examples in my life that was faithful as all fuck. But I've also seen people like you that can't last 3 days and are so desperate for attention or sex that they cheat ASAP or whenever the opportunity is there.
See you're either ruled by your genitals or addiction to attention (maybe both), but some people are ruled by values that are above that. I'm not saying you're good or bad, I'm just saying you don't value fidelity more than scratching the itch in your pants or to feed your ego. You value one set of things more than the other, but not all people are like you. Try not to take that personally and shit, I'm just making an observation by what you said.

None taken. I appreciate your honest response.
I've traveled for work, and never had a problem with staying faithful.
Just because some people will cheat, doesn't mean that everyone will. If someone's a cheater, then they're going to find a way to do it, anyway, whether they travel or not.

11 moeach person is different in their outlook on life, relationships, and fidelity. Being a man over being a woman doesn't play into it as much as a persons beliefs and commitment to their spouse. Some people cheat, seems they can't help themselves where others are faithful and remain so throughout their marriage. If there are flaws in the marriage then many things including travel contribute to the dynamics of their cheating, where with others they believe that marriage is secrete and would never betray their vows. It boils down to if it's in their nature or not. There are many who don't travel who cheat whenever the opportunity arises and they take advantage of the situation to be unfaithful, it's just who they are rather then where they are.

11 moI travel for work, literally every week sometimes I have to stay away for up to a week or even more and never cheated on my partner. Cheating doesn't have to do with the type of job you do it has to do with your values. I'm sure some people see traveling and being away from their partner as a great opportunity to get laid tho.

11 moI used to travel on occasion for work. Never once cheated on my then fiancé. My fiancé who pretty much never travelled beyond family trips did however find time to cheat close to home. Which is similar to what a lot of Servicemen come home to discover after being deployed.
20 Reply 597 opinions shared on Relationships topic. @thelovelywoman You are right. I have had sex with co-workers, while in the office and outside in the car, with someone who was in a relationship out side of work, and have read accounts of it.
11 Reply- 11 mo
@thelovelywoman Not to say that is a BAD thing, it just means that the people doing that has to have enough sense to be discrete, and not hurt or injure their marriage/relationship with their indiscretion. I have been involved with several married woman and women involved intimately with a 'boyfriend' and hope that the husband/boyfriend never found out.
People have affairs for various reasons, and if you chose to do that, PLEASE do not be so careless that you hurt the person you are married to or in a relationship with.

11 moMen are more faithful and loyal than women. Women tend to need to feel emotionally and physically connected with someone so they’re more likely to cheat on their partner.
