Trending & News Well the truth is, she can do what she wants , because I don’t own her just like she doesn’t own me , but if she loves and cares about me , then the respectful thing for her to do , is talk to me about it first before she makes any final decisions , , especially if we are living together and share responsibilities, Now if she just walked up to me and said oh by the way, I’m going on a girls’ trip next weekend to so and so , then I would lose respect for her for not discussing it with me first , considering I would never go on a guys’ trip without discussing it with her first. So the respectful thing to do , is discuss it with each other , before saying Yes , and not just assume it’s ok. If you want trust in your relationship , it’s very important to be respectful to each other , if you are selfish? That relationship will more than likely will not last period. My ex always had a shit about me going out with the guys’ but I always discussed it with her first and she was totally against it , but when it came to her going out with the girls she would just say yes , without discussing it with me first. So I lost all respect for her and ended it with her. Double standards do not work in relationships period. If your partner isn’t your top priority , then you are better off ending it with them immediately before they end it with you. It has nothing to do with insecurities , It comes down to respect for each other. Unfortunately a lot of people these days are selfish people that only truly care about themselves that only like the convenience of someone else as long as they are getting their way. My advice kick them to the curb where they belong.
If my wife wants to go and be around a bunch of different men alone that's an immediate NO from me for multiple reasons starting with it being disrespectful and stupid and running all the way I don't want her to get raped. In fact I'd start asking questions about whether she was being faithful because I don't want my partner around a ton of different men that all want to bang her. If you're a taken man you shouldn't be spending time alone with any girls other than family and if your a girl and your taken the only men you should be alone around are your family too. Men and woman can only be friends if one of them is gay because sex always gets in the way eventually on at least one end of the relationship. If a bunch of guys invite your girlfried to hang out with them without you there they're putting moves on you.
I can smell your anxiety, desperation & terror. Grow up
@DrPepper12
Go drink some soy milk weak simp boy.
IF his friends were grade A a-holes with no respect for our relationship or marriage, then no, and not because of him, because his friends would try to pull some s---t. However, the boys trips he goes go on are pretty tame. Like they went to a cabin to do hiking, boating, fishing---man sh*t, so have at it. Plus most of his boys have healthy relationships themselves, so they watch out for each other and have been friends for over 20 years.
Of course. Why wouldn't I? I know what kind of man he is, and I know that I can trust him. As such, I also know what kind of people his friends are and that they would not be getting into too much trouble. Someone who wouldn't let their their partner go on a trip with their friends is too broken for relationships.

I filter my partners extensively before getting into a relationship. The partners I choose wouldn't even think of doing anything behind my back and communicate frequently, openly and honestly. They would update me often without me having to ask.
So yes, I would let my partner go on a girls trip, because I'd trust them to just have fun with their friends and not do anything behind my back. I personally think it's good to get a break with your friends once in a while. Too many people, especially girls, tend to fall off the radar when they get into relationships and no longer talk with friends.
I'd also like to go on trips with my friends too, especially stuff like camping. Obviously the majority should be between you and your partner, but once in a while with the friends is healthy.
My wife died not need my permission to do anything. She returns to a China for about 30 days every fall while i remain in the US. I trust her but, if she wanted to cheat, she could do it without my permission. “Allowing” a partner to do something is an illusion!
I can’t just not allow someone to go and do something. Sure, I may choose to break up with someone.
My philosophy is that if someone is going to cheat they're going to cheat. If I’m insecure about something or have a concern I will communicate it directly. But controlling someone isn’t going to keep them from cheating or wanting to cheat…. At that point if I just genuinely didn’t trust someone I would break the relationship off.
Of course everyone needs a break once in awhile om single right now but in the past i had no problem saying ok love you be safe seebysh when you get back. And she would say no I will call you before then
They better… if guys can have their stag parties and cigar nights I’d like a gal’s spa weekend once in a blue moon too.
Nope.
I mean my wife has gone with her sister and met her other sister who lives 6 hours away, at a halfway point and they spent the day there and then they all came back to our city.
Would I be ok with her going with non family, some single friends and go off to Vegas of some beach town spot for a week for drinking and stuff like that. No. Women of low value, no virtue crave that stuff. They still want to act like they are single.
I would be worried if he wanted to go with friends that he doesn't know well. I would not try to ban him from going, but I would ask him to keep in touch with me while he's gone.
If he went with friends he has known for a long time already, then I would not mind if he preferred to disconnect from his phone more during the holiday.
I said no, but I couldn't stop her if she chose to go. But she would be single when she returned.
But my girlfriend has no interest in such trips. And a "guys trip" for me isn't about nightlife and women, but about camping and shooting and fishing. Sometimes she goes, and sometimes not, but she knows exactly what it is.
No thats trouble some of the others girls may want to go to an all male strip joint. And what’s the other girl gonna do but feel the pressure to go along. Not to mention guys hitting on the group and what if some of the girls wanna go to a dance club nothing but trouble
WTF? Sarcasm right?
@DrPepper12 no it’s not
I know she'd be a good woman and not forget me behind as her lover 😋 she knows what good she has back home with me (in this hypothetical) so I mean, you know, I'm a stunner, why would she cheat or look at any other woman/any other man the way she looks at me - again in this answer 😜😋✌️😃
No. It is in fact a temporarily single holiday.
A guy I know let his fiancee go on a girls holiday. She came back impregnated by a bouncer. Than lite out a year later. Last I heard he was still raising his genetically unrelated daughter.
Bad move.
They can do whatever they want, but they won't be my partner anymore 😂
Especially if their "boys trip" was to Medellin or Bangkok.
Relax... we're just going to fish
@Jennz6 Hangover was fiction...
As we're not joined at the hip, I trust my husband implicitly... Just as he trusts me.
Would love to know what your husband looks like cause you don’t seem to like any man at all that is posted on here
Yes absolutely.

Im not being a “troll” just because I am speaking the truth. You saying bye when you are losing the argument is another thing you do as well. Ill ask you once more, what is it that you actually do like?
Not this again 🙄. What do you look like? What’s your real name? If you aren’t prepared to show those things then you are on anon yourself
Brought in back up since you are that immature and can’t even answer a question. Oh look another anon who doesn’t show her real name or her face
More deflecting tactics 🙄. Go on who am I then?
Sure
Typical response 🙄
I've worked at a few bars over the last 18 years. Girl's or guy's night out always results in one of the group needing drunk and needing a babysitter, or fooling around with somebody when they aren't single, or both. Now imagine a few of those nights in a row on a 4 day holiday, you're asking for problems.
Allow? I don't own them. And I trust them.
Trust is powerful. It requires letting go. It creates a strong bond. Clinginess and ownership shatters bond.
Correct & well said!
‘Allow’ doesn’t feature here , if my lady wants to go on holiday with or without a group of female companions then she will. This does not need to have anything to do with me , she doesn’t need my permission to do this !!
Yes. I don't see anything wrong with them going on a trip with their friends as I'll be doing the same. I believe the best relationships are those who trust each other to br able to do something like this.
Sure, not a problem. No trust issues here.
Let? That only exists in marriage. In a voluntary relationship she can do as she pleases and I can decide how to handle it. I could pull the plug.
Yeah I wouldn’t mind if that is what she wanted to do. And besides if I can’t trust her she can’t trust me then what’s the point of being with one another. She should be the most important person in my life and me in hers.
Sure i wouldn't mind but he usually takes me with him even on his "lads holiday"
I don't really trust people anymore and for good reasons.
She's going in October with some old friends. This is normal and healthy.
I don't control what she does. If I have clearly defined lines/standards that will not be crossed without consequences, and she decides to violate them, then she probably won't be my partner anymore.
Always have. Even my current partner.
I am not some jealous, control freak.
Yeah, don’t care. But the second I find out she cheated.
She won’t see or hear from me again
that would depend on where she's going and with whom
the gaslighters can go fuck themselves once they realize trust is earned not given
There is a myth that in Ibiza a man will be bombarded with opportunity and cheat. I was there and this is further from the truth. You cannot score there. So in Ibiza let your man go there.
Yes, and so long as she uses protection, it's all good.
What is this "allow"? Isn't everyone a big boy or girl? WTF?
No way. I’ve seen the documentary Taken and Taken 2 and Taken 3. Never again. Never. Again.
Sure. Lasses and lads have to get away from their partner to bond with their same-sex friends.
She can do what she wants. And I wouldn't date someone I didn't trust.
Only if I was already planning to dump her anyway.
Fer realz?🤔
I believe in an open relationship at least from the females perspective the male should be mor monogamous
Allow? We don't tell each other what to do, but neither of us would do that to the other.
Yes! Otherwise why wouldn’t you? It’s all about trust and communication
“Allow?” Wft kind of bullshit is that? I don’t own anyone
If I already decided to leave her, I don't care if she does.
"Allow?" Of course. He's my partner, not my child.
yes, I trust her.
fffffffffffffffffuck no.
Why? 🤔
@DrPepper12 Because there’s always that one asshole who brings alcohol and girls into a lads' holiday, and I’m not naive enough to believe that any man would have perfect self control in that situation.
That's sad for both of you
I want to go on a girls holiday 💃💯
Of course... why not!
Fuck no, especially if her friends are single.
That's ridiculous. You have veto power over her life?
@DrPepper12 Nope
Yeah, unless I feel like I can’t trust her
Yes, I have complete trust in my wife
Sure, no problem, but I'm single.
A lads holiday?😆
Certainly because I'm not insecure
Yes.
Absolutely yes
Yes.
It's toxic
Allow? wtf?
