What are some hard truths you’ve realised as you’ve gotten older about life, people, yourself or relationships?

1. No one really cares or thinks about you as much as you do.

2. Life goes on. Whether you lose someone literally or metaphorically, you may miss them for a while but ultimately life doesn’t stop for anyone.

3. Your choices are a reflection of the love you have for yourself and others.

Another thing I’m learning is in life, you have to flow with change. Despite how much you want, you can’t control the outcome of some situations or people’s reactions. So if something happens the way you want, be grateful but if not, gracefully let go of the need for control and move on.
