What makes a woman cheat? How much her feeling impact her?

Why do women cheat? Yesterday someone shocked me when he told me that a female friend of his called him and said: ‘Come over, my husband left the house,’ so they could have sex together. What makes a woman do something like this?

Everyone want sex and women control who gets it and who doesn't do. Often it's the only power women have and lot of women abuse it. Men see sex as some kind of adventure, new partner is a new adventure, next tree, new adventure, old adventure is forgotten. Women see sex as asset, new guy a new individual who wants something I have and I can use his desire for more.
The other side of the coin is that men often allow their wives to cheat because they cheat as well. I personally can't imagine such a relationship can prosper over longer time but it seems other people have different priorities.

I think it’s a mix of personality and upbringing. My ex was a cheater, and his parents were very enabling, there was never anything wrong with anything he did regardless of what it was. Plus he grew up in a machista environment in Mexico where men are always right, so he’d minimize his actions by comparing himself to friends who were “worse”. As for me, I think the same culture teaches us (women) to feel a lot of shame for many things. So even the smallest things like not knowing how to cook at a young age or not saying hello to guests brings judgement, so going as far as cheating is looked at very disturbingly and it’s very shameful, it’s kind of like a disgrace to the family and it’s a big disappointment to parents. So I do think it has a lot to do with how you were raised as well as your personality because I’ve seen people that are a bit bold and shameless have more cheating tendencies.

If anything I think both spouses cheat. Guys want sex as much as they can and women are fine with sex once a week or once every two weeks. That doesn’t really work for me but sometimes it is what it is. I don’t wanna cheat, but I just want sex with the woman I love.
