Well of course I'd rather have a human companion. But the odds of finding a better match from a cat vs. a human companion is exponentially higher. Cats are affectionate and not spiteful. Cats are not judgmental. The whole world could despise you, if you pet the cat it'll be your best friend.😆 But as great as Cats are. A cat cannot empathize. Not really. A cat cannot encourage you. Or be a sounding board. A cat cannot really bond with you over shared experiences. Cats lives are essentially eating, pooping, and sleeping.
