Why is it that people don't believe me when I say I need family and friends to be happy until I die elderly age BUT NOT a romantic relationship?

I stopped looking for a romantic relationship years ago and eventually had the mentality, that I have sufficient enough with family and friends until I die elderly age. I started to have the mentality that if it ever happens that it is good, but if it doesn't happen that is good too. Like if I ever get a Lamborghini that is good, but if I don't get one, that is good too. I am good either way. I never had a girlfriend and I stopped giving a fuck around two to three years ago. I am happy with the mentality.
