Why do people have a problem with age relationships?

Me personally I couldn't it because usually most older women have kids. I don't wan to be a dad right now. If I were older, a younger woman would be better suited to me because one from what I have heard from older men. Younger women are more submissive ( cooperative ) don't have nearly as many standards, are willing to listen more, have more energy for sex, less likely to say no to say, are typically less depressing to deal with. Their are more but those are the reasons that I have heard of. What do you think?

I think mid-30s is a good age for men to get married. That's not to say that there is anything wrong with getting married when they are younger or older. But by their mid-30s, they should be making decent money and have some assets. It takes money and assets to insure security for kids.

Those men have also accumulated skills and knowledge. They've made it through the young, stupid part of their life. They've learned about the world and people and women. They are mature enough to be stable. And they are fit and youthful enough to be active fathers and good role models. They'll only be in their mid-50s or so when their kids go off to college.

I think it's fine for men in their 30s who want families to marry young women. Young women are full of energy necessary to take care of kids and participate in their activities. Their bodies may be more resilient and capable of bouncing back after pregnancy. They will be young enough for daughters to relate to when the daughters get older.

On the other hand younger women have a harder time psychologically with offspring.

And... "Experts say the best time to get pregnant is between your late 20s and early 30s. This age range is associated with the best outcomes for both you and your baby. One study pinpointed the ideal age to give birth to a first child as 30.5."

So, if I was going to float a personal opinion, I'd say an ideal age for a man might be 33-38, and for women, maybe 28-33.

But everyone is different and there is no "one size fits all". People can choose for themselves.

I was speaking of people who want to raise families. But if that is not their goal, they can get married at any age. I have zero problem with age differences, whether it's the man or woman who is older. I'm happy for them.

I have a issue with this cause I just can't see how these people with huge age gaps actually relate to each other or are able to have any type of real friendship/love. I think most don't have real love but stay for money, sex or cuz they can't find someone better.

There is a about a 5-10 years that is acceptable but past that it starts getting weird.

My brother is nearly 40 and he married a girl who was only 19/20. She was Ukrainian and prefer older men. Her reason was she loves how older men are so calm and reliable. Apparently her past boyfriends were just for sex and didn’t have career ambitions like older men did. My brother even though he’s 40 looks like he’s 25. She’s extremely satisfied. I think it’s also a culture thing.

@GlassTop oof that relationship sounds bad just cuz cultural differences and also the age gap. I don't understand how people like that even have relationships. And there are plenty of young guys out there with good career goals when young. My husband started working at 19 and will be retired by 39 and there are lots of others with that same timeline to retirement that I know.

I don't know. She literally talks every time about loving older men. She also talks about loving big dicks. I assume she is very satisfied. 40 isn’t really old for men anyway. They are just beginning at that point.

All I know is... even with a lot of conservative type women, they can be thirsty to be whores. You gotta very carefully find one who is the least whorish. Don't skip this step or you'll regret it later on -- I mean if you're really looking for 'serious forever' or even stable long term. So look out for any signs of her being likely to go down the wrong road. A woman who got raised in a home where mom acting like a whore was normal is way more likely to be that way herself. Same if her parents allowed her sister to be like that.

Now why do I even mention "serious forever" given that you didn't specify? Because it's actually not worth investing time in a woman/relationship for less than that. It's like spending $5k to do a paint job on a car with a busted engine and rusted out frame.

I'd never seriously date a woman over 25, whether it be now, or when I am 50. Granted, I hope to be married before then, but who would want to deal with a woman who's looks are faded, are likely emotionally damaged, and are probably single for a reason that is their own fault.
